Tom Berenger

What was up with him in the movie? He was under used and it really seemed like he didn't want to be making this low budget flick. There was a couple of scenes where it seemed like he was really uncomfortable with his lines. He appeared like he wasn't even phoning in his performance.

He was pretty stiff and lifeless. Even in the scene when he introduced himself to Martin towards the end, he seemed reluctant to inject some zeal into his demeanor. I don't blame him though. He didn't have much to work with in the script. His character was kind of pointless and anyone could have played the role. The only interesting character is Martin, as played by Craig Sheffer. He gave the best performance and was the best thing in this unnecessarily convoluted, ridiculous, unexciting, tension-defusing, and subpar film. There were too many unintentional laughs, bad acting and dialogue, questions raised, and plot holes.
