When I was younger we watched this movie. Withen the next week my parents split up. After that I was at my Dad's house, along with my siblings and as we were watching it, we got a phonecall. My cousin died. And there are other strings of events that have taken place. Whenever it's on, I turn the TV off and read a book. I hate it.

first time i seen it, i was 11... that night, my parents split up (but they got back together after 2 weeks lol)
few years later, i watched it,..next day; i got a speeding ticket.
last year i watched it, the next day i got a black eye.
horrible! lol
Pretty crazy when the plot had the kids staying with their dad and you were staying with your dad. The mom dies in the movie and your cousin dies.
