Question about Jacobs family

In the first movie Jacob mentioned having brothers and sisters, but in this movie it's like he was an only child. His father said that he was the only person his mother loved. Did I miss something, were his siblings mentioned in this movie?

Yes, that is a goof, I had noticed it too then came here and found a couple mentions of it.

According to the second movie, he did. According to the third movie, he didn't. It's like the other person said; it's a goof.
