Do you dare not to choose side

I’ve voted for this movie long time ago. Few days ago i opend this page to check some actors and i was suprised to see weighted mark of 6.0.
I think tat this movie deserves at least 8. Main reason for such low mark is national interests of involving patys. Movie storie is settled in balkan region during few wars. Balkan region is multietnical. During wars there were large confrotations between this sides. Between wars they lived together.

First national problem about this movie is fact that it was based on novel by Vuk Draskovic, serbian politician, whose party is somewhere between national and democratical.
Second national problem is the fact that all three sides are shown in this movie. Both their bad and good sides.
Third national problem is fact that it was made by serbian side, therefore for blind members of remaining two sides it’s propaganda movie which shows their side in bad way.

Truth is, there were wars between these sides. Wars involved all three sides.
Each one of them had their DEMONS who made war crimes.
Each one of them had their HEROES who helped people to survive that hard times.
Each one of them had their ORDINARY PEOPLE who tried to survive that hard times.

I put this movie in small group of movies who showed facts as they were. According to the fact above. Were these movies shaded well, there are manny opinions, but the fact remains that we all had our DEMONS. None of the sides is innocent.

Therefore I’m sad when i see someone attacs movies like this with only because it shows thir Demons. This movie has a very good plot. It’s well done. Actors gave a lot of them for this movie. It gives you an excellent picture of what war really is, and stands as an excellent anti-war example. If you watch this movie yo will see terrors of war and whole stupidity of it.
At the and all that remains is ash. No mater on whose side are you on.
