Strange Double Standards

I watched this movie on American TV one afternoon.

In one scene a sailor was being flogged aboard a sailing ship and the blood and gore from his back was clearly visible.

A later scene showed a post mortem of a female. Her breasts were pixellated out.

This pixellation was obviously done for the TV broadcast since it is not present on the DVD in the UK.
