did anyone here watch the old tv show based on the books? I used to love it as a kid but now i can remember almost nothing about it.
shareI watched(and loved)it.I still have most of the episodes on video(unfortunately not all).IMO it was one of the best children`s shows ever.
shareYes, I watched the 80 series too, and although the special effects were cheesy by today's standards, it was still enjoyable. The vampire hunter in that one was played by the late Gert Frobe, best remembered as Baron Bomburst in the original film CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG and the title villain in the Bond movie GOLDFINGER. And the vampire patriarch of the little vampire's family was played by Michael Gough, who played Alfred the butler in Tim Burton's BATMAN and the sequels up to BATMAN AND ROBIN, and was also the voice of the skeleton elder in the animated film THE CORPSE BRIDE.
