Yeah, I think maybe he just thinks he is, a bit like he thinks his sister is his mother. The description on the DVD cover states 'father unknown'.

true...it greatly implies julien...but i don't think we're ever supposed to know...
shareJulien does say something about Jesus having said that a man is cursed if he sleeps with his sister. Surely that's not really in the Bible, just something Julien made up because either he slept with his sister or thinks he has - remember when he calls her and they pretend that Pearl is his dead mom? Talk about confusing...
Also, when the gynaecologist asks who the father is, and Pearl just says: Father?, we cut to a montage of Julien and Pearl, like a hazy flashback. And in the end Julien says himself that it's his baby. So yeah, a lot of clues hint that Julien really is the father, so why would the DVD say "father unknown"? Maybe it was all in his head after all?
