Does anyone else think Dorothy killed her sister?

I always thought Dorothy purposely killed her little sister by leaving the attic window open when they were playing in a fit of rage. Could be wrong but the way Dorothy talks about it seems very off, I mean I know she's mentally ill but she seems to calm about it.

I don’t think so. I think it was simply an accident that set off mental illness

I think the story she told was true, that the attic window was accidentally left open. I think that is what first messed her up.
