The Movie Channel (well, one of the ones I get on cable) is showing this flick. The Guide says "Hide and Seek" and the info listed is about Robert DeNiro and Dakota Fanning, but each time I have tried to watch THAT movie - up pops Tilly and Hannah in this piece of crap...
same here, i love the other one so I taped it and then this happened, i was looking for a psychological thriller not a lifetime movie....

The same thing just happened to me on Showtime. The guide gives the plot for the De Niro film but this came on. For a long time the Fox Movie channel did the same mix-up with 2 films called 'Black Widow'. One a 50's soap opera film starring Ginger Rogers ,the other a suspense film starring Debra Winger. A film can have 2 titles one for video the other for theater or tv release. 'Cord' is the video title. But you'd think someone working at the channel would know what's on and if the right movie was programed to air. Especially if they were alerted to the mistake after the first time!

It's on Showtime now and it says Hide and Seek (2007). Husband attempts to rescue his wife after she's kidnapped by a deranged couple. (Horror,110 mins.). It's says that Jane March & Stephen Mendel star in it? I see Meg of Jennifer Tilly, I don't know the difference but the woman's screaching is friggin' annoying! Darryl Hannah is the kidnapped woman, but I don't think this movie was made anytime close to 2007. If it was, Darryl Hannah aged well. I know that it's 9 to 7 years ago but she looks young in this movie. Time to change the channel, Ms. Tilly is angry again, OMG, that voice goes from sounding like a Rug Rats Cartoon to Cats in heat.

I once owned a copy of this movie and it was titled "Hide and Seek". So the title is obviously correct, even though it's an alternate. But yeah a big mistake by TMC etc. about the info given.
