Why doesn't PBS have good shows like this anymore?

It actually taught kids something! Not just how to "get along" (read: shut up and don't ever rock the boat) like their usual Barney and Dragontales crap but useful real-world skills (mathematics).

I wonder where things went wrong. All the good math and science shows are gone. I guess at least Reading Rainbow is still around...


(And I used to LOVE mathnet!)
