This show not as popular as it seems?

I think that this is one of those shows everybody talks about but really doesn't care for.

I'm not talking about people who posted here and stuff, I'm talking about the majority of us who where in grammer school when Reagan was the President.

I remember the show. I was 14 at the time but I watched it with my younger brother. I really liked Mathnet.

I don't know about it's younger target audience, but I was in college when it came on, and I never missed an episode. I hooked up my boombox to my portable TV so I could record Mathnet (audio only) for my friend who had classes when it was on. It was that good.

I wish I had a VCR back then so I could have recorded the actual episodes, since they are STILL not released on VHS or DVD, other than for a scant few. Their music videos were some of the cleverest I've seen anywhere (and the misic didn't suck, either).

I remember this show. Even though I stuggled in math in school, I enjoyed this show, found it interesting, and may have even learned some things. I especially liked "Mathnet," "Mathman," and "Opps!"(brought to you by easers, don't make a mistake without one).

It was fine... Mathnet was the best part. I remember Dweezil and Moon Unit Zappa appearing a few times on the show. "David Numberman" and all that.

There were many better shows on PBS at that time, though none other did math. 3-2-1 Contact, Newton's Apple, Reading Rainbow, plus all those instructional television shorts like All About You and (even though it scared me) Read All About It.

I loved it as a kid, especially MathNet. Sure, I was too young for it and I remember my mother having to tell me what a fib was, but it was still good. Of course, back then, the cable company wouldn't deliver cable television this far out, so PBS was the only thing we could watch during the day time (my mother absolutely wouldn't let us watch soap operas or talk shows).

Are you kidding me? This was one of my favorite shows as a kid, especially Mathnet, which was pure genius. It was a very creative show, and funny without being stupid, both of which are something very rare in kids television programs these days.

Obviously it was otherwise it wouldn't of lasted more than a year.
