DVD????

I just wanted to say that I love this movie and watch it, at least once, every Halloween. I wanted to find out if anyone here knows any info about there being a possible dvd release? Any information would be greatly appreciated :) Thanks!

I got it on VHS from Amazon if you really want a copy.

reply

Still haven't seen it on DVD, but I just got the VHS for 99 cents at the "99 Cents Only" store (it's a chain, at least in AZ and CA).

The movie is on Laser Disc, you would think it wouldn't be too much trouble to tranfer it do DVD

reply

Really? I haven't even seen it on Laser Disc. Where'd you find that?

reply

I havn't seen it on DVD either. I have just emailed the Cartoon Network
http://www.cartoonnetwork.com/feedback/index.html
asking if they have a DVD version and if not do they see putting one out sometime soon. Maybe if enough ppl put in the request they would do it.

I emailed them a couple of weeks ago just asking if it was in their lineup in the coming month, but never got a reply.

What's with people finding this VHS in thrift stores! What thrift store was it?

reply

i also emailed CN, but i asked if they can maybe sell it through amazon on dvd on demand like doug and rocko , hopefully it works

This finally has been released on DVD. However, you have to order it direct from Warner Bros via their "Warner Archive" online. They are made to order on DVD-Rs, but the packaging is professionally produced. You can find it here:

I've got the commercial VHS copy. Surely I'm not the only one who also has a DVD burner hooked to their VCR?
This movie is out-of-print, there's really no way to find it easily.
Let me know if I can help. I'm Mark, [email protected].

reply

Mark, I'm sure you would make everyone's day if you burned it onto DVD somehow!

reply

You can rip this copy to DVD and you'll never know the difference

Warner Bros has the DVD for sale on wbshop.com, made-to-order for $14.95. It's basically the corporate answer to bootlegs, but it's legit, if bare bones.
