I honestly don't understand why.

As much as this movie was promoted and hyped up back in '03 when it was released, you would think it would've grossed at least $100Mil. The cast made frequent promotional appearances, I remember hearing a few songs from the soundtrack on the radio, and commercials were CONSTANTLY on TV. Bad promotion is NOT the reason for this movie's financial failure, because they promoted the crap out of this movie.

And I saw this in theaters Saturday of the opening weekend, and it was Sold Out. the theater was PACKED.

I loved the movie. Great cast, great acting and great story but my guess is that the movie came around at a time that a lot of other more popular movies was dominating the box office. 2003 definitely had a lot of hits.
