Not bad but not great

This movie wasn't bad for a lower budget film. The acting was good. The music was...well, the music never brought attention to itself so it must have fit in seamlessly as the soundtrack should. There were a few points that could have been done a little better though.

SPOILERS

1. The bank doors were unlocked the entire time for anyone to walk in. They didn't bar, lock, barricade, or in any other way attempt to prevent people entering. The whole sequence of the SWAT people having to enter through the sewer was pointless after realizing this.

2. The SWAT snipers used laser sights? Snipers don't use laser sights on covert missions because it is then possible for the victim to see they're about to be shot. They don't use anything that could possibly give them away.

3. At the end they let the bank manager just leave? They would have detained him for interrogation at the very least. And before anyone is allowed to go home after an incident like that all funds are counted and verified.

There was a fourth but I've already forgotten what it was.

As a whole it wasn't a bad movie and worth a viewing, especially if you can rent it for free from the library like I did!

I liked it and I do not agree that a film is better if it matches things we believe to be true in the actual world. Fictional films are necessarily in fictional worlds. In this fictional world, the SWAT guys were able to get through the bank doors however they did towards the end, they use laser sights, and apparently they just let the bank manager leave. None of that had a negative affect on the story for me.
