Flaws flaws and more flaws

When i saw this movie i couldnt believe the producers didnt do research before making this film. i wont even talk bout the impossible situations the climbers face themselves with, ill stick to the background of this film.


Firstly K2 isnt in pakistan, its officialy indian territory.so to call k2 in pakistan is plain wrong. The pakistanis have illegally occupied it.

Second: The pakistani's wouldnt allow american millionaire's to come and climb K2 because of some airline launch. See k2 is in pakistani occupied kashmir which is Restricted to non pakistanis.having hundreds of foreigners in k2 is even more unlikely.

Third: As of early 1990's the pakistani's ceded 3 sides of k2 to china, so american millionaire's coming to climb mount k2 is even more unlikely.


Fourth: K2 isnt next to the L.O.C so showing bombardment by pakistani forces is wrong.


Fifth: After watching the movie i asked myself y did chris o donnel and his "passe" go to rescue his sister, shouldnt the pakistani authorities have done it??? well i did some research and found that almost all rescue missions in the himalaya's r carried out by the respective armies of pakistan,india and nepal.

sixth: The pakistanis do not use liquid explosive in the army.



These r all the flaws that come to mind, if i watch the movie again im sure ill mind some more.
