Download yourself a playstation emulator (ePSXe) that works on any windows operating system. You'll need the original playstation version of the game disc though.

Here's a link:

http://www.epsxe.com/download.php

Hit the first download link and simply follow the instructions on that site under the 'Help' link.

Good Luck and enjoy the masterpiece that is Tomb Raider!

I know this is an old post, but I wanted to reply in case anyone else is wondering the same thing.

I was going to describe how to manually set up a completely portable Tomb Raider installation that could be placed on an external drive or even a flash drive and played without the disc and which wouldn't require anything to be installed to your system, but then I realized that probably 99.99% of the people who will ever read this wouldn't be able to follow the instructions unless I typed them in the most minute detail and then 100% of the people would stop reading by about the third step.

So instead, just go here;

It will install some files into your system and you'll need the disc to play it.

Thanks. I keep forgetting that this site doesn't automatically make URLs clickable. I have a Firefox extension that does it for me, so I don't notice it when I forget.
