Incomplete film

Although, I own the movie, this is not one of my favorites. There were an enormous amount of errors. These were errors that editing cannot even fix. The character development could not have been completely done. By the end of the movie I still did not know much about the characters. The script sounded like it was still incomplete as well. The shooting was very static. Also, I could easily tell that the movie had reshoots. There is so much more but I mentioned the main points that could easily disappoint a viewer like myself.

I was thinking the same thing. Why was this movie made?

Why, oh why did I sit through this whole movie without FF'ing through it with the remote?? Because I thought HAD to get BETTER.

I had to read the credits twice just to make sure this film wasn't a high school project. If it had been, I'd have given it a C. But since this was a legitimate film, I give it an F.

And in the last scene, what was all that about with Tyler's father? A man with a gun on the run from the law and all it took was Tyler to say, "Dad, don't do this, think of mom"??? Give me a break.

I thought the movie was okay but there were tons of problems with it. I only wanted to see it because I am a huge fan of Norman Reedus but in this movie I couldnt figure out if his character Jack was really gay or had some strange obsession with his sister. He had a cute big brother protection thing going on but it was a little too strong for me. And they sure did kiss a lot...

I had to watch it because of Michael Vartan. I used to be a fan when Alias was on TV. I didn't like the movie. I didn't even get the whole idea!

So there's this guy whose mother dies and he goes to a place where he used to live as a child and then his stupid father follows him with his stepbrothers. Two of them try to rape his new girlfriend and the girl's brother wants to revenge and they fight. They just fight twice and then the brothers are dead. The father wants to revenge and shoots the girl's brother and just because Ty says that he should stop it for his mother's sake, he stops. And the ending. Gah!

The only one who had even some kind of potential as character was Denis Leary's.

I hated the dialogue, the plot(-lessness), the way it was shoot, the annoying humming music every time they showed Ty and his mom and I don't even get it why there was this weird idiot couple(wife was Julie Delpy). They just were there and had nothing to do with the actual plot. The only thing they had connection with the plot was the fact that they had the motel where first Ty and then his father + stepbrothers stayed at.

Ok, now I'll stop complaining :D
