Who Saw This In Theatres? ( Common, fess up )

I had just turned 12, and yeah, Pokemon was still around, although it was dying, I remember when the fad took over, I was 9 I think, anyone, I remember how everyone was so into it, trading cards, how stupid we were, about 2 years later the fad seemed to eb dying, and then this movie came out, it was like, Pokemon, on the big screen, I remember the big line-ups near my theatres, how I waited like an hour in line and the tickets were being sold out like crazy.

LOL, that was like 7 years ago, man, who else remembers this?

Haha I saw it in theatres the first day it came out, at the first showing. I cried too. The threatre was packed! Lol now no one goes.

lol i admit i saw this movie in the theatres ... i cant remember how old i was but it was a few years ago, im 14 now. i used to love pokemon, i had the figures, cards t-shirts lol

i saw it it was good but i reckon the new ones with lucario and celebi are better than the first 3, but it was a good movie.

I saw this in theatres when it came out (opening night if I recall correctly), and I have no shame in saying it. I was in 5th grade at the time.

I did, I was 15 at the time. I had gotten into Pokemon somehow, I'm not really sure how, around that time and really liked it. So when the movie came out I went to my local theater (that my grandfather had actually built, which was recently demolished) to see it. It was kind of odd because I was the only teenager among tons of children. I felt completely out of place, but loved the movie. I'm now 28 and watching the movie as I type this!

Dragonzord! Mastodon! Pterodactyl! Triceratops! Saber Toothed Tiger! Tyrannosaurus!

Haha yes I saw it while it was in theaters (maybe the first day? i don't remember ;/ ). But, my brother took me and some friends to see it.. It was awesome :P

i saw it on opening day in 1999 and all i cared about was giovanni and team rocket - my fav characters

The theater was packed and everyone applauded every time a recognizable character came in.

When Giovanni showed up, all gigantic on the screen, i almost started crying (i was 12) with joy - then when i looked like mewtwo killed him, i did cry in agony lol

I remember seeing this in theatres with my dad. Because of that, my mom apparently had issues with it. My dad told her that Ash had died and the Pokemon brought him back to life. That was somehow a problem. And, anyways, did he even die? He just turned to stone.

I can't remember how old I was, though. I think I was eight. I cried as well. xD

I remember most of it like it was yesterday. I was in 2nd grade, my friend had gotten me into the show the previous school year when it was still in syndication, I was obsessed. When I saw the trailer for this movie with "The Iron Giant" I became so damn excited, I was jumping up and down in my seat, etc. I forgot about it and than commercials started showing up for it and I ended taking my entire 2nd grade class, some of my neighbors and some of my cousins to see this movie for my 8th birthday party (I turned 8 about six days after the movie came out). Thankfully, nobody remembers it. Good thing I don't remember much either! :P

I did too. Honestly I don't think this movie deserves the animation bottom 100. I remember it being pretty good and not really much different than most animated movies. I think it's probably the whole "LOL POKEMON=STUPID" thing...

Im 13 now.

And my god, I used to be obsessed.

I have hundreds of cards, and drew them. I even sold some to my friends.

but when my parents foud out they made me give the money back :D

I remember I watched this with my older brother and his girlfriend when I was 9. Anyone remember those "rare" cards they gave out during the premiere? I got a Dragonite card i think. xD

I got the dragonite card. worse part of that day, was telling my sister (who went to see the film with me) not to tell anyone where we were gonig, incase i bumped into friends. lol, that was a funny day!

Jesus... I was actually 17 when I saw this lol saw it with my first girlfriend and her little brother.

We were making out the whole freakin time, but I actually kept an eye on the movie lol was better then i thought it was going to be lol

Jesus being 24 now makes you realize how long ago that was
