The frst 5 minutes into the movie, I knew I had seen it before. Infact I studied it for a film class. Its a remake of the 1960-something movie "On The Waterfront" with Marlon Brando.
I think Aamir Khan played his part well. I just wish the script could have been slightly different or changed a little here and there.
Still better and more entertaing.

I rate Ghulam to be top Bollywood film with Sarat Saxena and 'Jay' with the lady Lawyer played great roles... but you have no idea about Period film and what a fantastic performance by Jacoby and Brando played along with other fantastic actors, the direction and innovation of plot.
Like 12 Angry man (again played well by Jacobey in that too) - Ruka howa faisla was also ditto copy and I do like Indian version but it just cant beat the period films, the actors and the originality and concept.
