Bagu Nagu: Sexiest black female I've ever seen in a Japanese anime

Until I saw this, I didn't think the Japanese were capable of creating a black character that was sexy and desirable, not some ridiculous caricature with charcoal-colored skin, bulging bug eyes, and humongous red lips. Sure, all of the male Horn of Africa members were drawn that way, but they clearly made an exception in Bagu Nagu's case. She was created clearly with Pam Grier as a major inspiration. Foxy Brown-style afro, a soft feminine face, and a graceful, taut, muscular body. It was pleasing for me to see that, even though she and Crying Freeman started out as enemies, they quickly became partners and lovers.
