The best sword fight ever filmed?

The fight between the two women may be my favorite film sword fight ever! It's got it all - the interpersonal drama, the speed, the moves, the ever-increasing tension as Yeoh picks up weapon after weapon and is better with each one than the last, the eternal question of whether supreme expertise can beat an invincible weapon, etc.

It certainly beats the hell out of every filmed duel in Hollywood films! Can you name a better one?

What I like about the fight is that the weapons they used had weight. You can feel the clinging and clanging with every hit.

It is a masterpiece. However, the final fight in Rob Roy (1995) is also amazing, as are all the fights in the Duellists (1977).
