shareHelp help! The above site will not work for me, flashing a "forbidden site" message. Anyone know another way to hear this cool theme song? thanks !
Julie, did I ever tell you about my Uncle Henry Kotter?
lol,i loved that when i was a kid. hard to believe the guy who played Ricardo died so young.
found this on wikipedia...
The Bloodhound Gang was a popular segment from the PBS television program 3-2-1 Contact about three young people who solved crimes.
The Bloodhound Gang consisted of "Vikki Allen" (played by Nan-Lyn Nelson), "Ricardo" (Marcelino Sánchez), and "Skip" (Seth Greenspan). The Bloodhound Gang got its name from Mr. Bloodhound, conceivably a private detective, who was perpetually absent from his office (presumably dealing with "adult" cases). The children of the Bloodhound Gang would then answer the phone ("Bloodhound Detective Agency, wherever there's trouble we're there on the double; Mr. Bloodhound isn't here."), and take on cases suited to their age. The Bloodhound Gang segments were short, and each adventure lasted multiple episodes. In line with 3-2-1 Contact's focus on educational content, the gang often used their knowledge of science to solve crimes.
The segment began with a theme song sung by Damaris Carbaugh:
"Whenever there's trouble,
we're there on the double...
we're the Bloodhound Gang.
If you've got the crime,
we've got the time...
we're the Bloodhound Gang."
Popular American suburban punk/rap group The Bloodhound Gang takes their name from this show, and the theme song appears on the band's website.
Hello. My husband is soon to become a science teacher and I sure would love to know how someone in his position could get ahold of this show. Do you have any leads?

BLAH
haha I didn't realize that the original poster's "BLAH" was his signature. I was about to say "How daaaree you disrespect the theme song to BG!"
shareSWEEEEEEEEET!
"If you've got the crime, we've got the time.....". That always made me laugh, mostly 'cause it reminded me of the theme to Baretta ("don't do the crime if you can't do the time").
Such a COOL show. And thank god for YouTube. Now I can actually show people what I'm talking about when they hear me singing snippets of theme songs to PBS shows. I've come to believe that I watched WAY too much TV (PBS especially) because my friends always think I'm some musical genius who makes up fun jingles off the top of my head --- yeah, don't I wish!
Too bad they don't make shows like this anymore
"HEY YOU GUYS!!!!!!!!"
