what does the final boss look like?
i have played this one just never could beat it can someone tell me what the final boss is like thanks.

a man/spider tell me does the final boss morph into that the same way the villian morphed into the dragon in tomb raider 2?
shareNot really. He appears to be eating a bowl of tomato soup, having a nice conversation with Lara, and then suddenly he's a gigantic spider with a human head. Strange.

The meteorite artificats that you collect throughout the game mutate him into a gigantic spider with a human face. It's a bastard to kill.

I hate these end bosses and he is hard to beat because you have to outrun him in a circular way and avoid the lava pits and make four sprints to get artefacts before he kills Lara with one of his energy bolts.
I always exit the game when he arrives, I lack the patience.

I don't think he's that hard to kill. It takes patience like someone else said but it also takes good timing and the Desert Eagle. Which is the best gun for the job IMO. You have to sprint everywhere pretty much to avoid being fried, it can take a few goes but after a while you'll get used to it. :)
shareYeah, I did beat him once but get easily annoyed with myself (or Lara, or both, lol). It's possible to save anywhere at any time too on the PC old-skools but it's such a carefully timed run, it's easy to end up saving in a bad place before you realise it's a bad place!! So best to use a few slots.
I'm sure I could do it again but tackling end bosses isn't really my forte because I can't relax and get mega stressed and fold my legs twice around themselves like an octopus without being aware of it

I entered a cheat code in order to have a huge supply of weapons to defeat that boss. I did the same thing for the final level of the original too.
shareI sometimes use the cheats for the PC to get all ammo, weapons and medi-packs but with Dr. Willard the end boss, it doesn't seem to matter how much ammo I have, I just end up getting killed or falling over the edge into the lava pools...lol.
