I don't know why this is called Black Belt Jones 2 because it isn't... Hot Potato was the sequel... Also, JONES and POTATO had the same director, the man who also directed ENTER THE DRAGON...

Exactly; "The Tattoo Connection" has no 'connection' with the film "Black Belt Jones," in any way. naming this one "Black Belt Jones 2" is merely a marketing gimmick, meant to sell dvd's. This movie has a completely different style, and a different tone altogether. It is a hard-boiled, serious crime film, with very little (intentional) humor. It's also very Asian in style, as it seems to be a Chinese production. BBJ is very American-style in every way. Not to mention, "Tattoo Connection" is the superior film in every way, (in my opinion.) I just wish it would receive the proper dvd release, restoring the Chinese audio and 2;35 aspect ratio..
