Presentation of the future

For me the most original feature of the film is its portrayal of the future as lacking the technology we take for granted but not particularly suffering. Does anyone think the film would have benefited if it had explored this idea and given more insight into Klapisch's other ideas concerning the future?

I don't think so. The general idea is that one has to trust beloved ones, whatever and grow up. Whatever lies there, the only way to know is to go there, from then.

It doesnt need techno mumbo jumbo enticement.
