Still part of the BW series

I've recently started watching this show, and as I started, I could understand some of the criticism. Now towards the end of season 1, I can start to see the Beast Wars feel.

The problem with the transformers community (I was around for when the whining started over 12 years ago), is that all the people who got a hard-on for Beast Wars expected Beast Machines to be "Beast Wars on Cybertron," when, in fact, it was never the intention or desire to make it such.

I just finished the series. I think it still had a beast wars flare but with a more linear story. good series. could have used a better ending.

My biggest peeves are the weapons and the overwelming eastern mysticism in the first few shows

No one liked "wheelchair Rattrap," which is probably why his figure has optional leg mode. Silverbolt and BA seemed fine to me... but you really didn't like the explosions? I loved the explosions.

Its hard to compare the explosions. A lot of the big ones in BW looked like real composited explosins. But BM did have weird, smooth, blobby explosions.

I agree about Silverbolts change being hard to buy. I didn't like the characters they change anyways, so I didn't mind so much.

Rattraps character development was refreshing.
