Cybertron=Earth?, Robots=Humans?, Oh the Philosophy of Beast Machines
first off im going to try and answer a question from a different thread which was "how did waspinator get to cybertron?" they discussed the topic there but my answer ties to this thread so i am posting it here instead.
i think it could be possible for waspinator to drift through space. he is a robot after all. he could drift under a form of stasis, which would conserve his energy for a very long time. long enough to make the trip im sure. and im sure that a live stasis program, not those with a pod, would have a continuous background scanner program running with it. this program would reboot the robot from stasis in case of danger such as debris. even if he didnt, in space he would just bounce of a comet or asteroid because they dont move very fast and it cant have much force no matter how fast it is moving. he would just ricochet, especially if he is mad of metal because it is harder to impale then flesh.
but i think waspinator didnt travel anywhere but time, in a sense. i have only seen beast wars & machines so one of the other series could have explained this. i think cybertron is earth, only way in the future. if so waspinator would only have to wait which would have "took forever." here are my reasons. cybertron used to be organic and has an organic core. the transwarp time jump-from old cybertron/earth to future cybertron/earth. notice when nightscream falls in those holes and lands in a pit of fossils. all of which are earth animal fossils. and he takes the form of a bat- common earth animal. i mean it is hard to believe another planet just so happens to evolve the exact same species of animals across the galaxy. and notice cybertron has one moon which odd resembles our moon only modified with some kind of metal tracks.
one thing im not sure about is whether or not the robots are modified humans or if they are aliens that took our planet over after we died out. i think they are human descendents. i believe that future humans create robots and then learn a way to implant their own souls(will later be called "sparks") into the mechanical bodies. it makes sense, these bodies are stronger store more information live longer are resistant to disease or other natural hazards and can more easily interface with other technologies. i mean more prosthetics are becoming mechanical and from there it is only a matter of time before a full mechanical and humanlike body can be created. and the transferring a human consciousness into it. makes sense that they were created by us to harbor us. which would also explain that they take a humanoid form in their robotic modes. we made them in our own image. therefore: matrix=god, oracle=jesus, megatron vs. optimus=classic evil vs. good or the duality of mankind. and god/matrix in a final attempt to save his beloved humanoids from themselves(yet again) restores existence by finding a balance between our natural past and our technological future. a compromise between the natural bodies he gave us and the mechanical bodies we gave ourselves. thus earth/cybertron became a technorganic world with the ideal of "balance, balance, balance" being taught to its inhabitants, starting with optimus's surviving team members. and one more thing: at the end of all the matrix/god's work the sun once again rose upon cyberearth beacuse after all his work god said "let there be light" and he saw it was good. peace and balance achieved at long last. amen.
but then again it could be explained as the spirit ghea(earth) being the matrix/oracle and she attempts to revive herself and her children. so the show could be explain multi-religiously depending upon the interpreter. i just didnt want to sound like a overly christian crazy person. its just more people are familiar with christian principles.
i enjoyed watching beast wars more but beast machines had much, much more depth and philosophical meaning to it -i hope it also added a layer of interest for all of you as well. you just had to watch carefully for the little subtle clues they gave us. but i could be wrong, its just my guess. sorry it took so long to say that crap. i hope someone reads all of this. let me know what you think. if you like or dislike, affirm or disprove, or if you have questions or want further explaining please tell me.
