Something made me think about this show today . . .

Do you ever get a sudden memory of television shows of yesteryear, and wonder if maybe they were a figment of your imagination. I'm speaking about at least forty-three years ago! Lo and behold, I visit IMDB and here it is!

I remember it came on right after school on PBS (back then called NET). I can only echo the sentiments of the other posters here. Only 15 minutes long? It seemed a lot longer than that back then! Mr. Homme, the small set, the puppets, stories and songs were all that was necessary to entertain children. You couldn't possibly get away with that today.

Whenever I hear "Early One Morning", I always think of The Friendly Giant!

I didn't watch this show very much. When I was very young, my parents didn't tune into it. By the time they did, I was too big for it. My younger brother and sister loved it. My brother even had a stuffed Jerome giraffe.
