no offence to lawrence...but linda is just made to be host of changing rooms. it's just not the same now...lawrence should be designing the rooms not hosting the show!!
shareI think that Laurence is wonderful as the host. He is a classy guy and he really knows what he is talking about (Of course he is a designer). Linda did host a special episode of the show where Carol and Handy Andy got to design a room and Laurence was the carpenter. She said that she enjoyed it but that she prefers designing to hosting. Too bad this show has been cancelled.
sharelol, you have chosen to praise not only the worst show on the beeb, but also a man always ranked high in the "biggest nonce" polls, and a moronic fool who drags the show into even deeper levels of blandness and mediocraty than it already posesses. Laurence has no idea what he's talking about, I once saw him paint a room puce! He also seems to have some sort of MDF fetish. Im glad its cancelled, and I'm sure you are the only person who disagrees.
shareFirst of all the reason why they use so much MDF on this show is because they only have a budget of 500-750 pounds. Yes some of Laurence's designs were over the top but a lot of them were good. If you think that Laurence has no idea what he is talking about you should see the American version "Trading Spaces" and see the Barbie doll host Paige Davis. That is one show that I wish was cancelled.

shareI think Lurence did a great job on the show as host nd as a desinger but I missed seeing him design.Linda's designs on the other had went down over the years.Short haired Linda,good.Long haired Linda bad-lol.
