How can I see this film?

How can one go about seeing this film? It just got ranked as the best Chinese film of all time by the Hong Kong film community and I'm definitely intrigued. I can't find a copy with English subtitles at any of my usual sites (DDDHouse, HKFlix, etc...). Is there a way to get this film with English subtitles?
Thank you.

I'd love to know, too.

I couldn't even find a non-subtitled version (not that it would help me).

There is a way.
Yesasia sell a non subtitled VCD of the film.
The script has been translated and is available on this webpage
http://mclc.osu.edu/rc/pubs/spring/default.htm
Therefore you can read the script and follow it whilst watching the film. It may not be ideal, but it worked for me.

I found this on dvd at the San Francisco library. If you live in a large city I recommend you check the public library.

Netflix has it.

As of Oct 2012, it is on Utube - with English subtitle. This is new.. a fe weeks ago there was only an original language version.
Hope this helps someone.

You could always check your local art-house cinema, if there is one near you. It is how I saw Spring in a Small Town. However, there are always DVD releases too.

I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not.

It is available on Youtube with English subtitles, though the copy is not great. The restored version is available on the BFI Player but you have to pay ten pounds for the privilege, unless you are a BFI member where it is cheaper. That is where I saw it.

If you're in the UK it's actually being shown on Film4 at 11am today.
