which movie was better les visiteurs 1 or 2 or just visiting?
shareI kinda like Just Visiting better because it was less slapstick and had some cool CGI effects. Both were very funny though.
shareJust Visiting. It might be due to seeing it first. I discovered the other movies later on and although they're funny, the jokes fall flat because they're subtitled. And so that really just leaves the slapstick.
I also think Just Visiting is a more well-rounded script, taking the best of both movies and integrating it into a solid film. I think it also has better acting.

The originals have 2 characters for Christian Clavier, that alone is enough to make them so much better.
1, 2 and remake, in this order.
I found the remake acceptable, but the jokes have less of a puch and by the 3rd act I think some of the characters are forced into their final climax.
The best thing here is MM as the wizard.
When I saw the first one, back in the day, I couldn't stop laughing. I have to revisit it. It probably could have aged badly, but I don't think so. I mean, I saw this thing over a dozen times in the 90s.
