Bridgette Wilson is amazingly gorgeous. I would have given anything to be in French Stuart's shoes and he gave it up.........the moron! lol

The original cast is what made this movie as funny as it was. I don't think another cast can do anywhere near as well.

Seriously! I loved the movie but based on everyone elses reaction why would they do it? Most people hated it or didn't get it. It's not even that old!

well lol the year for the remake is '08, this movie came out in '99 thats a 9 yr difference. Look at the Hitcher waayy to soon to be remade but they did it anywayz and it bombed.

I laugh in the face of danger. Then run and hide until it goes away.

Because HollyWeird thinks that by remaking and recasting the movie, it's an entirely original work.

Any guesses as to when they'll remake Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery?

"Oh, dude! I'm like, totally stoked!"

Why?

"Oh, dude...I'm thinkin' that they should, like, cast somebody from Grey's Anatomy or One Tree Hill to like, play both Austin and Dr. Evil"

Maybe they are remaking this movie in the hopes THIS TIME IT WILL BE FUNNY!

Cuz the last one was horrendous, mean, unfunny, badly written, and unbelievable. No lawyer or court on Earth would grant a girlfriend the right to live in a house she has no right to.

Horrible movie. I keep wanting to find someway to get this piece of crud out of my memory having just sat through it and wishing beyond hope that the move would start to either get funny or make sense.

So maybe someone decided it COULD be done but in a realistic AND funny way.

I'm not holding my breath though.

If they are I'm not too surprised, I thought the movie was really good but nobody even heard of it. Plus they're remaking everything anyway it seems.

I actually kind of doubt they're remaking it at all--it could just be a case of a completely different movie with the exact same title. It's happened before:

There are tons more, I just can't think of any others right now. And these movies had absolutely nothing to do with one another plotwise--except Crash both has car accidents, but they go completely different directions.

It could be one of those, where the title was so simple it could apply to many situations, and either the people making (or considering making) the 2010 Love Stinks are unaware of this one, or they feel that it won't be confusing based on the level of commercial success this one reached, which admittedly wasn't much.
