I love the scene in the beginning where traveling through the tunnel shinoda, daughter and yuki stop short of a break in the road only to find godzilla right in front of them. Now that was getting up close and personal shots of the big guy. LOL Godzilla chasing them as well was funny.

But also the scene earlier on when he's fighting the military. Really shows off just how powerful he is. Clearly this was Toho showing off after GODZILLA (1998).

I'd say the scene where Yuki snaps a picture while she is only a few feet away from Godzilla, and the flash of the camera makes him so angry that he starts to destroy everything in sight.
Death lives in the Vault of Horror!
The part where the spaceship starts uploading all the city's data and the scientist freaks out convinced it will be the end of civilization as we know it.
