ok so the first time that i saw this it didnt really do much for me.....................but after viewing it again i fell in love with it and nicoles performance....everyone that i know that has seen it thinks its bad but i think it is amazing....is it underrated or am i the only person that likes it?????

you are not the only one. I loved it. Just got it from Netflix and watched it. It was quirky and fun...with some actiony times and ultimately a very unlikely love story. I usually don't care much for Nicole but in this i loved her maybe it was the yummy accent:)

the film was ok. i gave it a 6 out of 10. Nicole was great in this, but the rest of the cast didnt do too much for me, and as soon as it started getting interesting, the movie ended.
sharei loved this film-it was surprisingly good, i think, especially considering it was so low key-kidman was absolutely fabulous in this..

I agree this movie grows on you. I first saw it at the Venice Film Festival and I admit I slept a bit...though it was mostly because it was very hot in that cinema and I was exhausted.
I saw it again and I found it quite charming, now I own the DVD. My only "problem" is, no way someone as strikingly handsome as Ben Chaplin needs to find an internet wife....

It wasn't brilliant but I enjoyed it, it had some very funny parts.

Good film, i often wonder why films like this don't get theatrical releases, this was better than some of the worthless garbage that goes into theaters, and I think it's the best performance Nicole has everdone, to date! The Story kept on surprising me, I didn't go into it knowing anything about it, maybe that made it more fun.

The film was average, but I think it's actually one of Nic's best performances... she had the characterisation down pat. Usually I see quite a bit of her in her characters; in this, I didn't see Nicole all that much (and I'm not just referring to her altered appearance).

shareI think it's very underrated too. Some people talked about this film like it was a real dud. It doesn't need to be a life-changing experience, it is what it is: a charming, unusual and interesting little sleeper. Nothing wrong with that. Nicole Kidman was excellent as usual, and Ben Chaplin was adorably cute.
