no..can't have been filmed in sydney...?

I could swear that that was Sydney airport at the end. Any Aussies agree? Or even some British people, can you confirm if that airport they're in at the end is Heathrow (or whichever its meant to be, one in England anyway) because it looks seriously so much like Sydney Kingsford Smith Airport...

It'd be really weird and random if it is.

I don't have the feeling that it was the sydney airport... I have been there several times.... hm? but I could be wrong too

reply

The interior scenes were filmed in Sydney so yes they could of used that airport to save time. The only airport I've ever been to in England (I am english) is Gatwick and it doesn't look like it to me :-)

reply

No it was not filmed in Northern England.
It was filmed in Sydney. If you watch the behind the scenes on the dvd they said it was filmed Sydney.

What do you mean different coloured trees? They're not green? What color are they?

reply

Man I could have sworn it was Stansted airport in London. There's a glass wall like that too, and the part where John runs through the parking lot and over the roads to follow the bundits and Nadj.. Sophia.. it's so like Stansted. Thou I've only been to Stansted once and it's the only airport in england i've been to, I could be just imagining it :) maybe just wanting it to be Stansted :D

Guess it's Sydney then.

Both Sydney and Stanstead airports, were used as locations. Sydney for interiors, Stanstead for night-time exteriors and some interiors. The last shot of the film wasn't in an airport at all but at Newbury race track done up to look like an airport. Crazy but true

ok cool thanks... and to answer your question, my signature is just something random that my friend said to me one day and it cracked me up. she was being serious too. but no, it's not true, i've been to the states and seen your trees and as surprising as it may be to some of you, all the trees are the usual green, red, brown, yellow and ochre sort of hues. yeah, pretty amazing, huh? who would've thought?

I thought it was filmed in Denver.... and they spoke Greek.

I recognised Stansted but did not know the Newbury tracks/airport thing

I am watching this now

i think they did something similar for the Shanghai airport in "Skyfall" - I think they used Epsom tracks
