Her husband's acceptance *****SPOILERS*****

Most of this movie made sense to me. I just didn't understand Nick's sudden complete acceptance that his current wife had met his previous wife and killed her when their points in time met.

Well, I also didn't understand why the plot demanded Charley die or why Nick's first wife was still alive along with the cat, unless we're supposed to believe there is yet another alternate time line in which she and the cat both live.
