It was no blockbuster, but made nearly $20 million on a $5 million budget. Hardly a flop.

I would like to see another doug movie.

At the rate Disney keeps (unnecessarily) remaking classics, I wouldn't be surprised if Doug has his second movie by 2062.

Wouldn't it be called "Doug's Second Movie"?

"Klaatu Barada Nikto"

Screw Disney, they messed Doug up. Nickelodeon should make the sequel.

I can't think of a good idea for a sequel. If they ever do another one, it'll have to been slightly better than the first, because "Doug's First Movie" was only watchable for a one time viewing, after watching it again, I found nothing too special about it. Disney was probably half the reason why I didn't had the heart to call it a fan favorite.

I would see a second Doug movie as long as it has a better flow than the first one.

agreed, and definitely have billy west provide the voices for doug and roger

Even if this movie was success, Disney probably wouldn't have made a second Doug movie, the show ended the summer after this movie came out. No show = no second movie as I see it.

reply

and plus...why would they make a sequel 2 this movie 10 yrs after it has been released??

reply

A sequel can be made no matter how long the first movie came out.

I prefer a proper Nickelodeon revival than a sequel to the Disney movie, though.

Knawmean?!
