During the scene when the cops go to Bill Bluff's house with Doug and Skeeter after the boys tell them that Bluff kidnapped their friend Herman Doug and Skeeter were stupid to identify Herman as a monster. They should of tried to identify Herman as a kid instead of a monster then the cops would of probably asked Bluff to search the house. Anyone else agree?

Considering what Bluff kidnapped wasn't a kid anyway, I really don't see how that would have helped.
