Was Reinhardt in on the reaper project?

Reinhardt wasn't the least bit upset about Damaskinos having engineered the Reaper Strain behind everyone's back. He was even commanding and being backed by Damaskinos' men. Also, when did Scud tell Reinhardt that the bomb was a dud?

We're not really sure and I don't think Reinhardt cares, he comes off as a foot soldier, one that follows orders. And Scud never tells Reinhardt its a dud until Blade tries to detonate it, he says "i'm sorry" suggesting he could have told him earlier that it wouldn't do anything.

At first, I thought he was in on it. He was quick to regroup after their mission in the sewer was over, and Damaskinos had plans for Blade. Although, The Bloodpack were put in danger, it was still best that they worked with Blade to deal with the reapers. Otherwise, it would have been a matter of time before the reapers got to them anyway. That could have influenced Reinhardt not taking it personally. Either way, Blade was right that they were going to get doublecrossed at some point.

It's doubtful that he was in on it. For one, Nyssa mentioned to Damaskinos that she was upset that she trusted him with The Bloodpack. Also, after Nyssa and Damaskinos left, Reinhardt was quick to attack Blade and Whistler. Had Reinhardt known the entire time, he probably would have openly attacked them. Reinhardt was unaware of the reapers being immune to certain weaknesses, Damaskinos already knew what they were immune to. Reinhardt giving orders was probably because of the emotional state Nyssa was in, Nyssa's admiration for Blade, and having to contain Blade and Nomak. Nyssa was genuine when working with Blade and trying to reason with him. Unless Damaskinos wanted someone more remorseless, it's hard to imagine him alerting Reinhardt and not Nyssa.

Reboot, restart or re-imagining is another word for remake

You make good points. Just a tough debate. I also have a hard time figuring out when Scud told Reinhardt that the bomb on the back of his head was supposed to be a dud.
