Crack team? Crap team, more like!!

So this 'crack team' have been training for two years? Huh?

Yet they were mostly armed with useless weapons and body armour to fight Blade- or anything. Why wield a pointless, heavy and clumsy hammer? How would that defeat Blade?

Why, if they're so special and trained as a unit, do some of them wander off alone into the darkness (away from the feast party) without saying anything to their 'crack' colleagues?

I agree, JH66.

I saw this at the theater and my main question while watching was "Since when did vampires need SWAT teams?"

reply

Well it makes sense for the team to specialize in different weaponry, since they don't know Blade well enough know what weakness he has as a fighter.

In regards to them not working together very well if at all, that's probably just due to the script which needed single character action set pieces. But they probably hadn't trained as a team yet in any significant way, alot of egos and big personalities too, including Blade the super lone ranger.

It's preferences. Just like every..straight guy (don't want to piss off the LGBT) have a preference of the type of girls they like. Even with cars, I prefer a well balanced BMW and I lick Glocks as a choice of self/home defense and a good old AR15. Some mighy rather have a 1911 and an AK47 for the bigger caliber as opposed to a 9mm amd 5.56.

In the USA, there are militias, why can't Vampires have them too?

The only ones that even stood a chance were Reinhardt and Nyssa. The rest were killed so easily. what a waste of a group of badasses

The only good bug, is a dead bug

Their training didn't include the reapers who proved to be incredibly agile and impervious to most of the team's cqc and normal vampire deterrents.

The same way it helped defeat the reaper. Hit him in the head and break his neck.

Seize the moment, 'cause tomorrow you might be dead.
