Who is open to a part 4 with Wesley Snipes?

I am and only if directed by Del Toro with the original storyline conceived for Trinity set in the future where all humans have been enslaved by vampires and Blade to the rescue.

I would be ok if they ignored events that happened in Trinity too

Seeing as how Marvel would desire more than a Blade One-off movie Wesley may be a tad too old.

But yes, right now I think Wesley is the only actor I'd like to see.

I approve this message!

I agree. Maybe something set way in the future, with an older Blade, more tired and world weary, fighting at this point only to honor Whistler's memory and not at all for any belief in humanity or even hatred of vampires. Then something happens to reignite his passion for saving humans. Maybe finding Whistler s bloodline...maybe his own ,even? I'll have to think on that one. But yeah, Snipes is the only Blade I want to see.

One of my old emails migrated over from IMDB. Such nostalgia....

I'm still up for s reprisal of Blade with Wesley even if it is only a transition from Wesley to another actor to take a series forward.

Not sure it'll ever happen; Snipes was such a d!ck in his last out! I heard nothing good; people almost thought it justice when he went to the slammer for tax evasion! ;-/

Snipes himself - desperately? - wants to return to the role. After the speculation going around about how the MCU might make a Blade series on Netflix - I too would like to see another movie but this has to be a better direction - Snipes made it clear that he wants to reprise the role. He might still be able to pull it off but I doubt he will be handed the role again. As for Del Toro, I would love it if he directed a few episodes but this is unlikely as well. Overall, the only way I can see the original movie series be revisited, is in a one-shot type film.

I love Wesley Snipes.

Also, I think he was one of the people who got the original Blade movie project off the ground.
On IMdB trivia it mentions he was attached to a Black Panther movie from the same studio and how he chose to get involved in Blade rather than the other superhero story.

He was a prorucer on the original movie and I couldn't see anyone else in the part for that film and still couldn't see anyone else in his part now.

He just ticked so many boxes and has aged well. He's got martial arts training at a high level, he has a voice that fits perfectly for Blade, his physique was and still seems ideal for the role, and on top of this he knows the part inside out, having played it three times.

The first Blade is still my favourite superhero movie. Still watch it a lot and one of the main reasons is Wesley Snipes performance.

I'd love to see Snipes return as Blade, 55 aint too old!

Indeed. If Tom Cruise can be Ethan Hunt at 55, Snipes can be Blade at 55.
