Reality about Mizer?

Was Mizer really exploiting those boys or was he naive as is portrayed in the movie?

reply

I've only seen the movie, haven't read anything specific about Mizer, but the the testimonies in the movie suggest that he was a man fascinated by that "art" and he did have sex with some of the boys (Joe D'Allesandro included), but as Joe and others said, he didn't force them into anything, they were "human beings" and there was "no moral or physical damage". Since they were all consenting adults (I believe so?), then who are we to judge.

I met Mizer back in the '70s. I've in his compound. He was pleasant and easy going. At that time he had some temperamental raving lunatic type black guy doing off-set printing for him. That character would throw screaming tantrums but Bob just let it roll off his back.
He also had a German Shepherd dog that seemed to have the "hots" for me. It would hover possessively around me and snarl at anyone who got near me. It was an interesting place.

Chops-4, I am a blog writer with The Bob Mizer Foundation. Would you mind contacting me? I'd love to write an article about your experiences in Mizer's compound, if you're willing. You can contact me at [email protected]. Thanks!
