Film Location?

Does anyone know where this mini-series was filmed? Some of the "sea" views could have passed for those of PEI, but definately NOT the other outdoor scenes. L.M. Montgomery did not exaggerate in her descriptions of PEI red dirt. That was glaringly absent from the film.
