Did she do it?

So, did she murder that woman? How was she able to open countless doors by herself, and dress herself, etc? What do you think?

i don't think so, maybe it was evil madame de plonge trying to set her up, no but realistically she could go from room to room all by herself.

but she doesn't know how to open doors! That episode confused me so much.

Hence its genious.

I think she DID do it and that the door thing is an elaborate hoax to make sure that the plebs continue doing stuff for her. You know, if you make them think they're useful, you can control them better. So, my theory is that she lets Lizette believe that she's an idiot when in fact, she is the smarter one. Further support of this theory can be found in the Marquis de Sade episode when she totally outsmarts Lizette with that contract. Heheheheh!

Things that confused me about this episode:

1. Why didn't Bouffon put two and two together when they saw that woman chopped to pieces?

2. Also, why was Julian so cold toward Lizette? That sort of thing just doesn't happen to Lizette...she's a regular Cassanova.

Last question:

Did La Contesse de Vache set the whole thing up with the debt, the murder etc...so she could get rid of Le Biche for bad mouthing her? Cause that's what it seemed like at the end, when she was talking to the head. That would make her even smarter and more evil and therefore even better.

Regarding your last question:

The Contesse didn't pick Le Biche, it was Bouffon, who tried to get rid of his worst enemy in Versailles.

At the end it just showed, how crazy she actually was and cold, so the viewer could see, that she was the actual murderer to get out of the debt.

i think she didn't do it herself but got someone to do it for her (much like what she was planning to do the king's son an heir "might die"... when the man turns up at the door sharpening his knives). she simply paid someone to chop her up, and she knew very well on approach to her apartment that the woman would be chopped into "15....ish pieces". she planned to do the same to her sisters husband.. "he might to torn to pieces by a ferocious, runaway ,dancing bear at any moment" with lisette saying "shall i book that for you" to which she simply replies "yes please".it's clear to me how she had her killed without having to open any doors etc. lol i LOVE this show so much!
