Oh, Silly Sheep....

Just wondering if anyone can make out the words of the song the Contess de Vasche sings to Lizette in "The Portrait." I've had the DVD for years and I still can't figure out what she's saying.

Lisa: I'M LOSING MY PERSPECACITY!!!
Homer: Well, it's always in the last place you look...

reply

Ooooo...my dvd will actually play the subtitles when I pop it in my computer. I'll go see what it says and report right back!

Over a year later .... when were you planning to pop back?

"O Silly Sheep,
O Silly Sheep,
For you are not yet shorn
For I have lost my heart
And cry all through the morn. ".

I don't agree, lol I think she sings nought but shorn, and the next line begins but.

Maggie Steed and Richard E Grant are hilarious in that episode.
