I WANT A DVD!

Lots of other "why aren't they on DVD?" type shows are finally seeing the light of day on that format (How Do You Want Me, Fun at the Funeral Parlour, Garth Marengi, the Armando Ianucci Shows, Fry & Laurie, Armstrong & Miller ... etc. )

So maybe "Hippies" will be soon.

There is a DVD called Hippies released on amazon.com on 7 January 2007, but virtually no detail on it - does anyone know if this is the UK TV series?

reply

It is. It's out on 10 March.

reply

Hells yes! I was looking for Hippies on amazon and ebay and I couldn't find it anywhere. This needs to be released on DVD!!

reply

I would imagine that with Mr Pegg being rather popular post Shaun / Fuzz this will be released on DVD by the BBC sooner rather than later...

Which is a real slice of fried gold.

Pretty....Pretty....Pretty....Pretty Good!

reply

I'm hoping they will release it in a format us Americans can watch. As a huge Shaun fan, I'm very interested in seeing Pegg's other work, but there is no way for me to do so.

reply

Amazon.co.uk has it listed for a March 10 2008 release date.

My copy came today. :).

With another work by Julian Rhind-Tutt, Rabbit Fever, which is awful. Apart from when he's on screen.
