Yes I thought it was, Imo it was of the most moving moments of the series.

Spoiler** In the last episode of series 2, Geraldine Titley got ran over by a truck, she was running across the road,(Can't remember why, it's been a long time since I saw that ep) Gordon and Mr Digby both witnessed it.
