my favorite line...

i love that part when that teacher is telling Starla he might have to talk with the cheerleading captain or whatever, and then Starla replies, "why? it's not like I got fat all of a sudden!". I was stoned when I watched it but it was funny. Even though this movie is pretty stupid it does have its funny moments.

After she walks in while the teacher is shaving his nose hair, they have that talk where he accuses her of wanting an affair with him and she goes:

"You wish, Chewbacca... Sir"

my favourite line is when she is having the french test and she's going 'the library is in the centre of town, perhaps we can meet up for casual sex, we can mate like two angry weasles while an eldery nun watches. i want to ride your horsie cowboy'.

reply

My favorite is the scream after finding out what the French translation actually meant. wOOt!

I like the whole stream of stuff she's spouting when she enters the party to confront, 'Kermit'.

That one is good.

I think the best is "you are a loser bitch!"

just the way she says it.

I thought that the scene where the Japanese girl plays the chello, and the Mom says she doesn't like that music, then Randolph replies that she is playing Mozart, and then the Mom replies - "no smartieee, Mozart played the piano!" was hilarious.

LMAO

What I saw... was REAL!

I thought the scene with the mother going, "I'm so tired of this Japanese music," and it's just classical music.

And then the scene with the French word, and her asking her brother what it meant. :D

"Have a nice day?"
"Yeah, I panicked; I didn't know what else to say!"

"Love just IS."

reply

You mean the scene where that Japanese girl played Mozart, and the mother said that?

Cause that's one of the most hilarious scenes I've ever seen in a movie.

"Are you aware of Garfield?"

when they are at the pep rally and the little brother is reading the book by Phillip K. Dick (or something to the effect of that)

and Starla is trying to relate to him/the book, "I like..Dick"

I think my favorite scene is when Starla is stoned off mushrooms and she is just wondering through the school and she gets in French class ready to play the tape and that whole conversation is hillarious!

I also love the part when she is taking her mugshots and says "if these come out good can I have extra prints." It's so funny along with her smile!

Great Movie!

"No day but today!"

reply

I love when ever Starla confronts her at the News contest and she told starla you are such a loser bitch in a heavy country accent! Her parents go "That's not French!" "That's not even European!"

reply

There were more than a few "double-entendres" in there. Like when she threatens Ed that she will have her boyfriend beat him off...up, beat him UP.

I am not a complete idiot. Some parts are missing.

reply

My favorite line was when she was getting the mug shots and she was like "If these turn out good, can I get prints?"

reply

"BaRbie is a role model!"

reply

"UNO MOMENTO S'IL VOUS PLAIT!"

*big rant about how she stole her life* "J'ACCUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUSE!"

"YOU'RE GOIN' DOWN, KERMIT!!!"

"oh, you are such a loser bitch!"
"okay, that is not French."
"that's not even European."

really just so many. i think in the US, we may have gotten a horrendously watered-down version because not only is the script incredibly witty for a teen comedy but the deliver was just flawless in most scenes. i bet the original version had so much comic genius that got cut.

reply

"Mr. Le Duke, Mr. I'm married but teenage girls make me pop my jimmy, my fruit de looms"!

In the juke joint:
"You messed with the wrong c**ze flooze".

Kyle: "C'mon Babe, we're just dancing"
Starla: "THAT'S NOT DANCING, THAT'S DRY HUMPIN!"
Genevieve: "Sorry, that's how we dance in my country"
Starla: "Well then ev'ryone in ur country's just a BIG FAT WHO**!"

HILARIOUS

It reminds me of how Phoebe Cates in "Date with an Angel" got jealous and drunk and was acting like a horrible mess. I have to admit, I've been there (ha!), and won't go there again!

At the end:
"Slapping people is fun".
