Will the Yanks ever stop saying that they 'saved our **** in the wars?

We did Josie. England quite being interesting as a successful country the day you started losing your exploitative empire. When your network of lackeys and serfs started to fold your country folded too. The United States absolutely saved Europe from the Russians. The Germans would have flattened your country and the Russians would have swept in and you'd have had the East German experience under Stalin. I'm sorry we saved you to be truthful. Europe wasn't worth the American blood but a bunch of Anglophiles dominated the US elites in the Ivy League at the time and they engineered Pearl Harbor to drag us in to save you. The most racist foreign nationals I’ve meet in the United States have been British. The mystery I’d like you to answer is how did you manage to get the reputation of being cute and harmless? The whole overeducated taxi driver thing? British culture is typified by your soccer fans. It is very feral in actuality.

I loved the film
Its laugh out loud funny

We will never stop reminding the French that we had to bail them out of two World Wars during the 20th century

I am so glad that France has recently elected a leader who I can respect!

This film is simply funny and we can all laugh at ourselves

No you didn't, you stupid asses! Certainly not you, and not even your grandfather. My country was only partly liberated by the Canadians and not US Americans. All credit goes to the Russians, you probably haven't been taught in school that they were the first to defeat the Germans in Berlin and put the Soviet flag on the Reichstag. Hitler comitted suicide because the Russians were coming. Educate yourself before spitting out garbage!

I don't understand why French people get so upset about this movie. It's quite clear that both nationalities are made fun of. This specific line said by Starla actually only makes fun of her general knowledge ... Stop being so sensitive and open your eyes.

Maybe it takes someone who doesn't belong to either country to actually see that.

Starla is a satirical character. The fact that a bright but superficial kid in Wherever, Texas would say that sort of thing is itself a joke, if you get this movie.
