Agreed. I live in OH and I loved how Colonel Tavington was able to sound evil when talking about my home state...
“Tell me about.... Ohio!”

Cornwallis was like oh wow this is going to be easy, he wants that trash heap!

The movie also needed to show that a sizeable number of colonists were FOR British rule, not just that one guy who was on the side of the King. I'd say it was half-and-half, to be honest.

Which is much more accurate, but this isn't a movie about historical accuracy, it's entertainment and those bloody British were so evil!
